In the standard setting, the results are displayed in the top category is the Apps. If you\'re looking for a file and the keywords you entered did not match the name of the program that is installed on the PC, then the search results will be empty.
Files click on the right pane and you will find the files that contain the search terms you use.
Repulse this one similar to the look of Windows 7, without the Start button to access the Search feature. So how do I find the file in the Windows 8 desktop display?
To search for a program, press the Windows key + R, type the name of the program that you need and then press ENTER. Unfortunately, it also sometimes does not work. If this happens, it is better to use the display Simplified Interface and follow the steps above.
You can also search for files in Windows 8 using File Explorer which you can access by clicking the folder icon on the taskbar. Once open File Explorer, navigate to the folder you want. File Explorer is the default location Libraries, which contains the folder Documents, Photos, Video and Music.
Click on the search box on the right and type in your search keywords.
